Students entering the workplace of the twenty-first century face the challenge of communicating through electronic media. Electronic media is a new rhetorical environment, similar in some ways, but significantly different from print media in other ways.
Tonight we will get an overview of the course and take stock of the kind of work we'll be doing this semester. This course is full of writing, but there's also quite a few technical things to learn. Your success here will have to do with your ability to plan ahead (don't procrastinate) and find motivation to learn new things.
